Traditional Afternoon Tea

Brilliant!

When in England a lovely afternoon tea is simply brilliant. It is likely that I will use "lovely" & "brilliant" more often and they are two words that accurately describe  the last few days.  Although, not everything. I have got to watch where I am going. The uneven footpaths combined with all of the surrounding scenery are not a good combination, it is a bit hard keeping an eye on everything.... I will  let you draw your own conclusions, no elaboration needed just some deep blue. There is just so much to take in especially if I don't want to get lost.

The university hosted a traditional afternoon tea for the international students and it was delightful! Everyone is so kind and welcoming here at Kingston University.. I feel very blessed to be here.

I moved to a new Airbnb for the next few days while I sort out a place to stay. Fingers crossed that I have actually secured one and will know in the next few days if it is for sure.

First, the Airbnb's. The first one was delightful as was the host, Lily! Other than the 4" x 4" (literally - that isn't a typo) mirror in the bath and no outlet in the bath meant I had to style it in the bedroom so I really have no idea what my hair looked like for the past three days...other than that everything was great. :)

The second Airbnb is awesome! As a designer I appreciate the décor and after meeting the host, Monica, and seeing the rest of her home, it is all her. Quirky, sweet, unique and comfortable. Yup, that is a glittery silver toilet seat! No lack of mirrors here either! They are new to the Airbnb scene so I am their first guest.
