LONDON WINTER

Winter in London can be as unpredictable as winter in Cache Valley Utah, although not nearly as cold. This past week we had frost, fog, clouds, and sunshine - sometimes all in one day. The days everyone else seems to be bundled up and freezing I think the weather is perfect. Except for this past Wednesday. Our usual classroom can get quite toasty and I am usually the one opening the door or window to air it out during the breaks. Instead I was freezing and achy and had the beginnings of a headache. I rarely get sick but I caught something and gratefully I do not live far from campus and the worst only lasted about 24 hours. The headache has evolved over the past few days and yesterday a migraine hit. I am really glad that all of the symptoms didn't happen at the same time. Each day has had a different symptom, nothing unbearable just weird.

No, I did not go to the doctor nor did I test for anything. I don't do doctors and I am fine, except today I have no sense of smell.....

This week as a class we will be visiting Kings Cross in London. This is home to a regeneration project that is considered very successful. I am excited to go see what they have done in person, I have seen some pictures but seeing it in person is always better. For each of you, I will share pictures form the visit!
