Diversity

Diversity has application to different things. Diversity in life, diversity among people, diversity in ideas and beliefs, and so on.
The official start to classes is this week and yesterday all of the students graduating presented their final project/thesis. It was super interesting. The topics were as diverse as the presenters. Topics included, sustainability in conservation, conservation of churches, conservation of ancient ruins, materials used in conservation, and 3D scanning to document structure and track changes. Students were from different parts of the UK, Asia, India, and some I couldn't figure out. For some it was apparent that English is not their first language. I cannot imagine completing a course like this along side learning a new language. I really admire what they all accomplished and how well they presented their work.

Popped out the umbrella today! It may have only rained for a moment but I kept it open for a while longer  I walked home from campus. Then just as I arrived back to my Airbnb it started raining again.... It looks like rain is expected tomorrow and then continues for a few days so I'm good with that.

Moving in day is Friday and I am so ready to settle in. Living out of a suitcase gets old but I have been so grateful for the events that have led me to today. I know that I have had Heavens help through it all and although aspects have been challenging, I have experienced tender mercies, met some wonderful people along the way, learned a lot, and feel extremely blessed by how things have worked out.

PICTURES:
This mural is on the wall of a building I have passed by almost every day and I thought it went well with todays topic.
The second photo is taken from under my umbrella - not obvious that I needed it but I am smiling underneath it.
